English to Spanish Freelance Interpreters
Thank you for your interest in becoming a freelance interpreter for Translator UK. Please note, this page is relating to a position for a freelance interpreter from English to Spanish.
Translator UK is looking to recruit five to 10 experienced English to Spanish interpreters for ongoing work. This position is on a freelance / contractor basis. Note that the base rate for professional interpreters from English to Spanish is £40 per hour, though may be higher depending on the complexity of the job in question.
This position is available for interpreters based in the United Kingdom only.
Please note that the following criteria are mandatory, and if you do not match any of these, please do not send your CV as it will be disregarded.

Mandatory Criteria for English to Spanish interpreters
- Native Spanish Speaker (mother tongue as Spanish)
- University-educated in English to Spanish translation & interpreting
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an interpreter from English to Spanish
Additional (desired) criteria for English to Spanish interpreters
Please mention, in your cover letter or email, if you comply with these additional (optional) criteria:
- Centrally located in London, or elsewhere in the UK and willing to travel
- Can receive payments via PayPal or Wise
- Authorised by the appropriate government body to interpret English to Spanish in UK courts for example
